101 Copenhagen has announced its latest collaboration with Berlin-based master florist, Carolin Ruggaber. Carolin is known for her floral designs and concept-driven installations that incorporate a wide range of natural materials, making her the perfect match to complement and enhance our sculptural furniture and ceramics.
The field of her artwork lays at the crossroads between the urban man-made environment and pure wildness. She is fascinated by the relationship between humanity and nature.
After learning and executing all the basics of floral design for several years in Germany and Australia, Carolin became officially a master florist in 2016. She graduated the international masterschool Academy of Flowerdesign in Zurich where she got triple awarded.
Brutus stool
Inspired by the Brutalist architecture movement of the mid-20th century, the Brutus stool is cast in lightweight fibre concrete creating a unique surface texture increasing mobility. Drawing on traditional Japanese wooden stools, the curved seat and signature cross legs makes for a perfect extra seating around the table.
Cobra vase
A tribute to the Cobra Arts Movement of the 1960s, the collection is the epitome of quirky vases that will add joy to any interior setting. Think whimsical, soft and organic shapes unmistakably reminiscent of human silhouettes and curves.
