Amélie du Chalard opens a new location in Paris

Amélie du Chalard opens a new location, her third Parisian pied-à-terre from the Ambroise Collection. Inspired by the famous art dealer Ambroise Vollard, these homes bring together talents for a truly arty and sensory experience.

Nestled in the prestigious Hôtel de Tallard, a historic building designed by architect Pierre Bullet between 1702 and 1704, this new haven is adorned with contemporary art, offering travellers the opportunity to enjoy an immersive artistic experience while staying in a historical setting.

In line with previous Ambroise locations, this address has been envisioned as a collector's haven, where each artwork is carefully selected by Amélie du Chalard. A ceramic piece by Héloïse Rival stands proudly above the fireplace, while a drapery painted on a giant mirror by Sophie de Garam enhances the space. The venue also features works by artists such as Catherine Danou, Gabriele Herzog, and Delphine Brabant, creating an intimate and soothing atmosphere.

Amélie du Chalard collaborated with Franco-American architect Tess Walraven, who completely renovated the duplex. The creative trio Pierre Augustin Rose, with whom the gallery owner has worked for several years, brings their full creative potential to life through the furniture pieces they installed in the space.

This new establishment invites visitors to explore art in a personal and sensory way. Every decor element is for sale, allowing guests to extend the experience by acquiring paintings or art objects. The bespoke service, including a cultural concierge, enriches the experience with personalized offerings, whether it's discovering Parisian galleries and museums or visiting an artist's studio with an art critic. The venue equally appeals to professionals who can use the space to host extraordinary events.

Amélie du Chalard continues to push the boundaries of art. This location perfectly embodies the balance between heritage and contemporary creation, becoming a must-visit destination for art lovers and travellers seeking unique experiences.

Amélie du Chalard
Born to an artist mother and a business lawyer father, Amélie du Chalard inherited a dual
talent for the arts and finance. Following preparatory studies and a business school
diploma in finance, which she passed with flying colours, she began her career at a very
young age in an investment bank, where she remained for six years. Amélie nevertheless
spends her time collecting the artists she loves, and in 2015 decided to launch her
contemporary art gallery Amelie, Maison d'art in Paris and then New York. Among her
other entrepreneurial adventures, the young gallerist created Ambroise, an experience in
aesthetes' refuges.
