Garden trends for the upcoming season to take centre stage at Gardenia 2024

The 18th edition of the GARDENIA Fair in Poznań is ahead of us. The theme is "Green Future: Horticultural Industry of the New Era." From exhibitors and experts in landscape architecture to urban and backyard greenery, specialists and hobbyists, visitors will learn what kind of greenery is coming: minimalist? Automatic? Natural or designed? How is the industry preparing for climate change? How is it responding to new consumer expectations? What kind of garden centre is likely to attract and retain today's customer? At the exhibitors' stands, visitors will see novelties for the coming season maintained in an ecological spirit, the latest trends, and interesting facts from the industry.

The power of conversations
Being in the right place at the right time is often the secret of success. That's why the Gardenia Fair offers its visitors not only novelties and innovations at carefully prepared exhibitors' stands. It provides what you can search for in vain in any other setting: a meeting of the entire industry under one roof, where for three days everyone is geared to give and receive information. To offer as many 'points of contact' as possible, this year's Gardenia will provide exhibitors and visitors with several diverse spaces:

Speakers' Corner - This is a lecture and discussion space where listeners and speakers will meet with experts in marketing within the horticultural business. The stage will host perhaps the only agency on the Polish market specializing in green business—Greendea. Each day in this space will focus on a slightly different aspect: garden centres, e-commerce, and gardens in business.

Green Educarium - This stage will be hosted by the National Association of Garden Designers, and speeches will focus on trends, best practices, and the most important aspects of professional landscape architecture. An important highlight of the Green Educarium will be a debate with experienced landscape architects.

Power speech - This stage is dedicated to exhibitors and guests who would like to make an impression on Gardenia participants. Organisers have invited leading companies in the horticultural industry, experts in many fields, and city representatives to give lectures, presentations, and mini-trainings. It is here that the most important novelties of the Fair and its greatest curiosities will be presented.

Florist scene - This inseparable, colourful part of the Gardenia Fair will bloom with thousands of flowers. The Gardenia Fair is one of the largest florist events in Poland, bringing together professionals from the flower industry. In addition to a wide range of plants, floral products, and novelties, it is a true festival of the art of flower arranging.
As part of this year's Gardenia Fair, there will be as many as 18 shows conducted by the best master florists.

Conference room - In this space, two important events will take place: Certified training of the Federation of Polish Arborists with the main theme: PROTECTION OF TREES IN THE INVESTMENT PROCESS.

'This year's Gardenia Fair aims to become an arena for international meetings in the horticultural industry. The organisers are in the process of intensively acquiring foreign contacts, which will open up completely new prospects for Polish companies. This will be a record edition! Organisers are pleased to receive many applications from over 17 countries, and this is certainly not the final number—applications and inquiries from interested foreign companies and institutions are still coming in,' the organisation says. 'Gardenia's visitors will include participants in the Hosted Buyers program from countries such as Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, France, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and Italy.'
