This collection features seven wood and stone decors that have been carefully tailored to meet the needs and tastes of customers in Switzerland, available in two construction heights.
The Duplex Malacia collection consists of two variants: the Malacia 2.5 mm design floor for full adhesion and the Malacia 5.5 mm drop-lock basic click. With a total of seven attractive decors—including five wood and two stone effects—the collection stands out not only for its appealing pricing but also for its variety of styles, ranging from calm to slightly more rustic appearances. Thanks to its 0.55 mm thick wear layer, Malacia is also suitable for commercial construction.
Warm wood and cool stone effects
The wood decors, including Oak Fresh, Oak Pure, Oak Living, and Oak Nature, are both popular and timeless, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in any space. For those who wish to align their floors with current interior trends, the trendy colour Oak Amber is an excellent choice. With its matte surface, perfect synchronisation of texture, and four-sided micro bevel, Enia achieves a highly authentic look with all Malacia wood decors. The two stone effects, Concrete Grey Middle and Concrete Grey Dark, exude both a modern and elegant appearance, with both travertine designs embodying a contemporary aesthetic.
Duplex collections for maximum flexibility
All Malacia decors are available in two different product variants, ensuring maximum flexibility in floor layout. Like all other Duplex collections, Enia offers Malacia in two construction heights. For full adhesion, the 2.5 mm variant is suitable, while the Malacia 5.5 mm drop-lock basic click, featuring a user-friendly 2G click connection, is ideal for floating installation. Both variants are water-repellent and extremely easy to maintain. In VOC testing procedures, Malacia achieves the highest rating of A+ for the lowest emission levels of volatile organic compounds, ensuring that air quality remains unaffected by emissions. With a high slip resistance class of R10 and a 0.55 mm thick wear layer, both variants of Malacia are perfect for installation in high-traffic areas, both in residential and commercial spaces.
Multitasking thanks to drop-lock technology
The waterproof drop-lock carrier board of the click variant is an exclusive technology from Enia, allowing the design floor to be installed directly on all flat and solid substrates. This innovation has quickly proven itself in the market as the ideal solution for problematic substrates. Additionally, the three-layer construction provides high dimensional stability and tensile strength for the click connection, while the integrated 1 mm thick IXPE underlayment reduces both impact and airborne noise. The Duplex Malacia collection is packaged in modern, environmentally friendly brown recycling boxes and will be available exclusively in Switzerland starting May 2024. Malacia will be distributed directly through Enia Switzerland or its distribution partner Holzplatten AG. With in-house stock, the collection will be available in Switzerland within 24 hours.
