For the 40th anniversary of the M.O.W., which took place from September 22 to 26, 2024, Inter Link had a lot in store—both in quantity and quality. Since the exhibition space wasn't sufficient to present the 300 new furniture pieces, the specialist for solid wood furniture occupied an additional 100 square metres. With three fully staged booths—6, 7, and 13 (new)—Inter Link showcased its products on a total of 1,000 square meters of exhibition space, making it the leading exhibitor in Hall 12.
The furniture was displayed as it would be in a showroom—trendy, emotional, and authentic. 'With this presentation, we wanted to show that furniture retail can still be fun, even in challenging times. We're taking some of the burden off our retail partners. The presentations they saw at our booth can be implemented 1:1 at the point of sale with our help. That's why the fair's motto was: Power your business with Inter Link,' explains Martin Link, owner of the Link Group.

Inter Link, with its own production company, Inter Link do Brasil, has now become a key supplier for the German furniture market across all product categories, including living, dining, office, small furniture, and baby + kids. There was especially high demand for flat-pack kitchens, which Inter Link presented for the first time this year. In addition to its established segments of youth living, takeaway, and self-assembly, Inter Link has ventured into the conventional market for the past three years. The solid wood furniture from Brazilian production offers retail partners many attractive marketing options, especially since Belarusian furniture has been on the sanctions list since August.
Inter Link has benefited from direct access to Brazilian wood supplies since 2002, with its own production facility in São Bento do Sul, where more than 110 employees are based. The city, located in southern Brazil, enjoys international recognition in the industry due to its strong position in wood processing.
'Despite all the political turbulence, Brazil is a stable democracy without war, strikes, or major crises. The raw material supply is solid—especially pine wood, Pinus Taeda, which is abundant. Container prices from South America have also dropped again,' explains Martin Link, describing the current situation.
Many products from the Inter Link do Brasil factory are also certified with the "GS TÜV," "TÜV Rheinland," and "LGA tested" seals of approval. Since the furniture is stored at the company's headquarters near the German-French border, delivery times to the retail partners' warehouses or through dropshipping to end customers are extremely short.
'Our retail partners had to allow plenty of time, as this year's anniversary offerings allowed them to thoroughly stock and restructure their assortments,' adds Stefan Frisch, Inter Link's sales manager.
