XXXLutz is reopening its St. Pölten store after significant flooding caused by heavy rain in mid-September, which devastated the region, particularly St. Pölten and Tulln. The store was closed from September 16 to October 15, 2024, due to extensive damage, including the destruction of inventory, technical systems, and building infrastructure.
During the crisis, XXXLutz employees and volunteers worked together to clear 10,000 square meters of mud, debris, and damaged goods. The company expressed gratitude to local emergency services and government officials for their swift support.
To assist flood victims, XXXLutz is offering a 20% immediate discount on purchases for those affected, along with 50% off service charges (like assembly and installation). They are also providing zero-interest financing for three years with no down payment or processing fees. This support initiative runs until February 28, 2025.
