A popular French bedding chain is expanding its presence in France, aiming to reach 75 branches by the end of 2025. Recognised as the "Best Chain of Stores of the Year 2025" in the Bedding category, the company, Le Roi du Matelas, currently operates 65 locations, primarily in Belgium, Luxembourg, and northern France, generating an estimated €45 million in turnover for 2024.

To enhance its market reach, Le Roi du Matelas plans to open approximately ten new stores in 2025 while also launching a franchise model. This dual approach aims to strengthen its territorial network and get closer to customers in regions where it currently lacks a presence. CEO Pierrick Cornu expressed confidence in the success of the franchise initiative, supported by the group's 30 years of experience in successful business integrations.
The brand has modernised its store concept and aims to provide comprehensive support for franchisees through the "Lion Academy," offering training and tools focused on enhancing store performance and customer experience. This initiative has already shown results, with customer satisfaction increasing to 97%. With these strategic plans, Le Roi du Matelas is set to solidify its position as a leading bedding retailer in France and beyond.
