Rexsitt, an Italian company in the ergonomic seating industry, unveiled its latest introduction at Orgatec 2024, the international trade fair for office and workspaces. The big new features was Reshape, our new product, that marks a turning point in the company's history. Reshape represents a new vision of ergonomic seating: flexible, innovative and focused on sustainability.
This chair, which was the highlight of the Rexsitt stand, is the result of years of research and development and carries no less than five patents, demonstrating its revolutionary strength. The main innovations include the quick-connect system for armrests and backrests, an ingenious mechanism that allows the configuration of the chair to be changed quickly and easily, adapting it to the needs of each user. This patented system not only guarantees a customization without precedent, but also allows for faster and more convenient maintenance by simplifying the replacement of single components.
Another innovation is the upholstery hooking/unhooking: thanks to this system, the chair covers, which are completely removable and available in a wide range of fabrics, can be easily removed and reattached. This allows not only easier cleaning, but also flexibility in style, which allows the chair's look to be updated over time.
The technological core of the Reshape chair is its pioneering buster mechanism with self-weight adjustment. This solution, the result of extensive ergonomic research, offers ideal support for all types of people and shapes. Thanks to this technology, the chair adapts perfectly to each user, ensuring maximum comfort and correct posture during the entire utilization time.
However Reshape is not only technological innovation. Rexsitt wanted to create a product in line with the principles of circular economy and sustainability. In fact, the chair is made of recyclable materials and designed for long life: each part can be easily replaced, thus extending the product's life cycle and minimizing waste. This approach allows customers to purchase individual replacement parts without the need to replace the entire chair, promoting a responsible consumption model.
