Novus at Orgatec: Working comfortably and ergonomically

At this year's Orgatec in Cologne, brand manufacturer Novus showcased innovative solutions for illuminating workstations and positioning monitors ergonomically and flexibly. Located in Hall 7.1, booth E020, Novus presented high-quality products and workstation solutions designed to meet the modern-day office requirements for ergonomics, design, and functionality.

Every two years, Orgatec, the leading international trade fair for office and facility solutions, highlights innovative ideas for the workplaces of tomorrow. At this year's fair, Novus Dahle demonstrated how contemporary 'new work' concepts could be implemented with both ergonomic comfort and practicality. On approximately 100 square metres of exhibition space, Novus More Space System displayed products aimed at creating comfortable and flexible workstations, giving office staff space for creativity, concentration, communication, and collaboration, ultimately making work easier. Novus's trade fair presentation focused on the "Attenzia" task lights and the versatile "Clu" monitor support arms.

Illuminated workstations
The "Attenzia neo" task lights from Novus were notable for their combination of optimal illumination, minimalist design, high-grade, robust materials, and "Made in Germany" quality. The lighting concept features extremely low glare values and high light efficiency. As a standard feature in the "Attenzia neo" luminaires, 25% of the total light falls directly onto the desk, while LED light strips on the lamp's upper side direct 75% of the light toward the ceiling for indirect illumination. The new "Attenzia neo+ XT," revealed at Orgatec, allows for separate control of direct and indirect lighting with two key switches to set and save preferences. Meanwhile, the "Attenzia neo+ U" luminaires, with their double luminaire heads in a U-shaped layout, provide ideal lighting for two workstations arranged side-by-side.

Working without limitations
Since 2001, Novus has been producing high-quality monitor support arms that promote ergonomic working through versatile installation options. This expertise shines through in the "Clu" series' technically advanced monitor support arms. The modular "Clu" and "Clu Plus" monitor holders can be adapted for one, two, or even three monitors and can accommodate standard screens as well as heavier monitors (up to 15 kg) and curved displays. All "Novus Clu" models allow for smooth monitor positioning, with options for portrait orientation thanks to a pivot function. The "Clu Plus" models offer flexible, space-saving solutions, enabling a variety of viewing angles and work setups. These models stand out not only in functionality, ergonomics, and flexibility but also in design, with clear design language and options in black, white, or silver.

Creating a relaxed atmosphere
"Orgatec is undoubtedly the highlight of the trade fair calendar every two years," explained Patrick Niehoff, Sales Director More Space System at Novus. "This internationally oriented trade fair provides a unique opportunity for us to strengthen existing relationships and impress potential clients with our office solutions on-site." To create a relaxed atmosphere, Novus featured an XXL foosball table at its booth, inviting visitors to test their skills. "Our goal was to spend time with customers and visitors in a relaxed environment. We even organised a small Novus foosball tournament with a 'wall of champions'," Niehoff shared. The foosball table symbolised the shift towards an open, flexible office culture that values communication and collaboration as integral aspects of 'new work.'
