Interface presented itself at ORGATEC in Cologne this year with two global product launches and an expanded recycling concept. In addition to its own stand E-020 in Hall 8.1, the sustainable flooring manufacturer actively participated in the trade fair's program, contributing to discussions around the 'Future of Work.'
Enhanced Design
At its 136-square-meter booth, Interface showcased the new global carpet tile and LVT collections, Etched & Threaded™ and Earthen Forms™, alongside other successful product solutions. These collections exemplify Interface's Made for More™ approach, offering flooring that provides not only enhanced performance and aesthetics but also strong climate protection.
The Etched & Threaded™ collection introduced the warmth of luxurious textiles into commercial spaces, with carpet tiles that combine effortlessly through diverse textures. With seven designs in twelve neutral colourways inspired by the geometric flow of natural stone, the collection brought a serene and calming atmosphere to work environments. The Earthen Forms™ collection, on the other hand, embraced natural elements, blending the warmth of woodgrains with the cool texture of travertine stone. This LVT collection featured three designs available in modular tile formats and a range of neutral colours, effectively bringing the outdoors into indoor spaces.
Commitment to ReUse and Recycling
Interface also demonstrated its commitment to sustainability, living up to its Made for More™ slogan by expanding capacity at its carpet tile recycling plant in Scherpenzeel, the Netherlands. This increased capacity enabled the company to recycle more post-consumer carpet tiles with CQuest™ backings and reintegrate processed materials into new products. The expanded capabilities of Interface's ReEntry™ program ensured that used carpet tiles could find new life through ReUse, Recycling, or ReCover.
Interactive Engagement
In line with its focus on reuse, Interface applied the principle to its trade fair presence, designing the booth using a significant proportion of repurposed materials from previous years to minimize resource consumption. As a leader in the circular economy, Interface also took part in #TheCircularHouse in Hall 4.2 through a digital tour, presenting the company's expertise on circular transformation alongside other knowledgeable partners. Additionally, Interface was actively involved in the Focus Area #OfficeExperience in Hall 8, a section dedicated to future-oriented office management with innovative, sustainable concepts. Here, Interface participated as a partner in both a workshop and a presentation, reinforcing its commitment to creative and sustainable solutions for modern workspaces.
