Kriskadecor presented innovative office solutions at Orgatec 2024

'An enveloping optical illusion that maximised visual impact and evoked spaciousness'

Kriskadecor, a Montblanc (Tarragona)-based company specialising in custom design solutions with aluminium chains, recently participated in the Orgatec fair in Cologne. At this renowned international event, the brand showcased how its innovative proposals can creatively and functionally transform workspaces.

Returning to Orgatec in a pivotal year, the fair underwent a reinvention to provide a contemporary vision that aligns with the future of work. With a shorter format and revamped pavilion design, Orgatec highlighted the latest trends in the workplace.

Within this setting, the Catalan brand presented a stand designed by estudi{H}ac, led by José Manuel Ferrero. The space showcased design solutions that emphasized lightness and versatility, making them ideal for dynamic and creative working environments.

While Kriskadecor's projects span hotels, restaurants, museums, and airports, its chain solutions are particularly well-suited for office settings. From space dividers and wall coverings to striking ceiling elements for lobbies and meeting rooms, these customized proposals provide a unique and functional aesthetic that caters to modern workspace needs.

Innovation and sustainability in an immersive installation
At Orgatec 2024, Kriskadecor transformed an industrial element, the coil, into an immersive installation designed by estudi{H}ac. This proposal invited visitors to engage with a circular space enhanced by a strategically placed quarter-circle and mirrors, creating an enveloping optical illusion that maximized visual impact and evoked spaciousness. The circularity in form and concept symbolized the recyclability values that Kriskadecor upholds.

Beyond its visual appeal, the stand showcased the diverse solutions offered by Kriskadecor. Just as the coil stores and releases the chain, the exhibition space unveiled the brand's versatility. From image reproductions to the Feel Free system and innovative ceiling solutions, each element demonstrated Kriskadecor's adaptability and commitment to transforming modern workspaces.

To enrich the experience, a large screen displayed various applications of the material in real-life contexts, providing visitors with a comprehensive view of what Kriskadecor can bring to spatial design. Additionally, a corporate summary was subtly integrated into the stand, inspiring attendees to reimagine the environments they inhabit.
