German furniture store bankrupt and inventory liquidated after former owner disappeared

A furniture store in Pankow, Germany, has gone bankrupt, prompting a sale of its remaining stock. Following the closure, the landlord reported that the previous operator has vanished, leading to the decision to liquidate the inventory. The circumstances surrounding the bankruptcy of the retailer, Exedra remain unclear, and it is unknown if the former operator is undergoing insolvency proceedings.

The Twins Company, a firm that specialises in clearing out hotels and commercial properties, has acquired the Exedra furniture and will manage the sale. The sale commenced on Saturday, November 2, and will also occur on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, during which the furniture will be available at significantly discounted prices.

While the store will continue to operate on other days, the exact timeline for the final closure of Exedra remains uncertain.
