Aldi is set to open 11 new stores across the UK before Christmas as part of its ongoing expansion efforts. The discount retailer will begin by launching stores in Sedgley (West Midlands) and Castle Douglas (Scotland) this week. Additional openings will follow in Horsham (West Sussex) and Muswell Hill (London) later in November. By the end of the year, new locations are also planned for Totton (Hampshire), Cribbs Causeway (Bristol), and Pwllheli (Gwynedd).

In addition to new store openings, Aldi is refurbishing over 15 existing locations to enhance the customer experience and incorporate more sustainable features. These updates are part of the company's £800 million investment in expanding its UK footprint in 2024, with the goal of reaching 1,500 stores across the country.

Jonathan Neale, Managing Director of Real Estate at Aldi UK, emphasized the retailer's commitment to providing high-quality, affordable food to a broader customer base.
