From Sunday, November 3rd to Wednesday, November 7th, the Brussels Furniture Fair took place. Last year's campaign for the fair planted a seed for a brighter future, while this year's theme 'Growing Homes' shifted the focus towards how we can grow into that future. In Brussels, business owners gathered with the intent to move forward and grow their businesses—an aim that also applied to the fair itself.
Spread over an area of 42,000m² and seven halls, professional visitors had the chance to network, spot the latest collections, make purchases, and find inspiration. As with each year, many loyal exhibitors returned, often in the same locations, and a great deal of effort was put into creating beautiful, inspiring exhibition stands. This year's halls once again reflected this dedication, showcasing everything from vibrant colours and disco balls to a Lamborghini parked among the beds.

The team from InteriorDaily and its Benelux sister site Wonen360 visited all exhibitors and created the well-known, popular photo report, which you can find here.
What did the exhibitors say? According to many, there were fewer visitors than in previous years, though the quality of visitors was notably higher. It was also striking that many visitors travelled from neighbouring country Germany, likely due to the cancellation of the next imm cologne edition. Several exhibitors who would usually be present in Cologne also showcased in Brussels this time. Despite a quiet and challenging market, exhibitors noted a slight positive trend, with October being a good month for many.
And what did visitors say? Visitors we spoke with mentioned there wasn't much new to see at the fair, but they came mainly to network, hear from suppliers, and gauge market trends. Which trends stood out? Dark green moss and orange were the most popular colours, while the teddy fabric remained omnipresent in both coarse and fine textures. Additionally, rounded shapes, ribbed fabrics, and sustainable production were common themes.
