Morleys, the department store from the UK, has announced the appointment of Allan Winstanley as its new Chief Executive, effective January 2025. Winstanley will succeed Nigel Blow, who has led the group for the past eight years.

Allan Winstanley returns to the UK after a successful tenure at Myer department stores in Australia, where he co-led a major turnaround of the business. His extensive career in retail also includes roles at Sears in the US, De Bijenkorf in the Netherlands, and a decade with House of Fraser in the UK. Winstanley began his career with Marks & Spencer and has held directorial positions with The British Fashion Council and The UK Fragrance Foundation.
With his wealth of experience across international retail markets, Winstanley is expected to bring a fresh perspective and leadership to Morleys as the company moves forward under his direction.
