French kitchen manufacturer targets customers through new city-centre store concept

During its 2024 Congress held from November 2-6 in Cape Verde, Cuisines Références unveiled a new retail store concept aimed at conquering city centres as part of its Strategic Plan for 2027.

The company, which currently has only 21% of its stores in city centres, plans to expand its presence in urban areas to better serve high-income city dwellers, active seniors, and young families in Paris and other major French cities.

The new stores will be around 100 m², significantly smaller than the traditional 250 m² stores. Designed to blend with urban aesthetics, the stores will feature either the brand's signature dark blue façade or a more neutral stone finish for better integration into city neighbourhoods.

Inside, the store will offer high-quality kitchen designs alongside solutions for other home areas such as libraries, custom closets, and relaxation spaces, catering to the needs of apartment dwellers and owners of older homes.

Cuisines Références' new store layout will include two kitchen displays, multiple storage solutions, a living room area, a home office, and dedicated spaces for customization. The store's focus on "optimised, clever, and welcoming" design aims to attract a clientele seeking space-saving solutions.

Cuisines Références also emphasises local communication and professional staff as key factors for success, ensuring that each store is well-integrated into its community and has a skilled team to foster customer loyalty.
