Le Creuset's warehouse sale in Andover, Hampshire, drew massive crowds, with hundreds of bargain hunters lining up for up to four hours to purchase discounted cookware. Known for its iconic, colourful cast-iron products, the French brand offered up to 50% off on items such as casserole pots, saucepans, and kettles.

The unticketed, first-come-first-served sale, which took place over two days, saw high demand from early morning, causing traffic congestion in the surrounding industrial estate. Hampshire police were called to manage the traffic, responding to reports of congestion at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday and remaining on-site until around 11:15 a.m.
Many eager customers documented their wait on social media, sharing TikTok videos and Facebook posts of the long queues, with some reporting that by the time they entered, many items had already sold out. This was Le Creuset's second sale at the Andover location this year, following a similar event in March.
Le Creuset's popularity has endured since its founding in 1925 by Belgian industrialists Armand Desaegher and Octave Aubecq, who introduced the first cast-iron cookware with a vibrant enamel finish. The brand's timeless designs, premium quality, and association with celebrity kitchens—like Marilyn Monroe's prised Elysee yellow set—continue to make its cookware highly sought-after, appealing to collectors and home cooks alike.
