A furniture manufacturer based in Haarby, Fyn, Denmark has declared bankruptcy after years of financial losses. The company, Kristoffersen Møbelfabrik, recently reported it will cease its operations.

Established in 1945 by the Kristoffersen family, the company struggled under mounting deficits, with a loss of 1.5 million DKK in 2023, following a 0.8 million DKK loss in 2022.
Despite efforts to negotiate extensions with creditors, the company's financial situation worsened, leading to its closure on November 7, 2024.
Kristoffersen Møbelfabrik employed nine staff members at the time of its bankruptcy.
