A new Porro flagship store was recently opened in New York and New-York based architects, developers and opinion leaders were invited to explore the space.
Maria Porro, head of marketing and communication, Piero Lissoni, art director of the company, and West Chin, founder of West | Out East, met guests in the showroom conceptualised by West Chin Architects & Interior Designers: a bold, vibrant space awash with a rainbow of colours and rich woods, such as ebony and eucalyptus, embodying the quintessential New York style interpreted by the Italian brand.
During the Grand Opening event, the on-site, hand-drawn illustrations by artist Tommaso Nava captured Porro's iconic designs, intricately rendered on natural wooden surfaces crafted from remnants of the brand's industrial process. This unique artistic approach reflected Porro's dedication to creativity, high-quality natural materials, and attention to detail, while embracing a sustainable vision rooted in durability and respect for the environment.
