Haier Europe is proud to announce its participation in the exhibition "Italy of Patents: Successful Inventions and Innovations," organised by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the Italian Patent and Trademark Office.
The exhibition, hosted at Palazzo Piacentini in Rome, was inaugurated Monday, November 18, at 11:00 AM in the presence of Minister Adolfo Urso and Deputy Minister Valentino Valentini.
Haier Europe is participating in the project with the Chef@Home oven, selected among the most significant patents nominated for the exhibition. This innovation represents an important technological evolution in the home appliance sector, thanks to a patented lighting system integrated into the oven door, designed to significantly improve the visibility of dishes during cooking.
Developed by a team of experts, the patent introduces a unique design that eliminates light reflection issues between the glass panes of the oven door, ensuring a clear and distortion-free view both to the naked eye and through a camera.
The exhibition of Chef@Home in this prestigious context is an important recognition for Haier Europe as a leader in technological innovation and the enhancement of intellectual property. The "Italy of Patents" exhibition represents a unique opportunity to promote the importance of protecting inventions and to celebrate the progress of the Italian industry through the ideas that have shaped its development and evolution.
The exhibition will be open at Palazzo Piacentini until March 2, 2025, and features the participation and contribution of over 100 companies, institutions, and research centres, offering an overview of Italian excellence in terms of creativity and innovation.
