Every month, many new JYSK stores open the doors to customers around the world. Expansion has been a main part of the DNA in JYSK ever since JYSK founder Lars Larsen opened the first store in Denmark in the city of Aarhus in 1979.
Since then, the number of stores has grown from one to more than 3,400 in 48 countries around the world.
In December, JYSK will open 19 new stores in 11 different countries.
These will include stories in Bulgaria (Botevgrad), Croatia (Petrinja and Retfala Osijek), the Czech Republic (Tuchoměřice and Vamberk), Greece (Syros), Italy (Altamura), Poland (Bielsko Biala, Szczecin Vendo Park and Sokołów Podlaski), Romania (Beius, Constanta, Supernova and Moinesti), Serbia (Prokuplje), Slovenia (Litija), Spain (San Fernando and Sanxenxo), Ukraine (Kub, Kalush, Giraffe, and Irpin).
