Popular French retailer Alinea has opened a space dedicated to French artisans and creatives: Comptoir d'Alinea. 'Le Comptoir is our ephemeral creators' market. At the heart of our stores, it invites artisans, artists and young brands from our regions to exhibit their local and always committed creations. Its next edition is already in preparation, we look forward to seeing you there!' the brand shares.
The philosophy of the Comptoir
Every year, in January and September, Le Comptoir welcomes nearly 80 artisans, artists and entrepreneurs from the brand's regions who all share its vision of creation: a passion for the craft, and French, local and responsible manufacturing.
'Le Comptoir d'alinea is much more than an exhibition. It's really a place for human encounters, with a brand with which I share values. Everything happened very quickly, the customers, the visibility... It was a real springboard that allowed me to develop my business,' says Marlène Fancelli, creator of Aquarelles de Marlène, exhibitor at the Comptoir since its first edition, now listed at Alinea.
Committed to French creators
'At the heart of our commitments, there is the desire to promote our heritage and to shine the spotlight on French creation. Le Comptoir is a concrete example of this commitment. Through this solidarity initiative, we are committed to offering privileged support to local creators, allowing them to make their work known and promote their unique know-how.'
'We are increasing our actions to support creators in our regions and promote more and more new talents, and today, more than 160 creators per year already benefit from our support.'
