Gervasoni participated in EquipHotel 2024, that took place from 3-7 November in Paris, a premier event for the hospitality industry that draws professionals and operators from across the globe.
The booth draws inspiration from the hôtel particuliers of Paris, capturing the refined and sophisticated atmosphere of a historic residence. Panels adorned with boiserie, mirrored doors opening onto endless perspectives, and a mosaic floor echoing classic Parisian geometries set the stage for the showcased furniture. Within this evocative setting, Gervasoni will present a selection of iconic products alongside new offerings that blend contemporary design with the brand's signature craftsmanship and aesthetic.
Visitors to the booth will be transported to a Paris of classic charm, reimagined through Gervasoni's furniture, where tradition meets modernity to create an immersive and unique experience.
Distinct lounge areas punctuate the space, blending upholstered furniture that has shaped the brand's history with more recent designs that embody the Gervasoni philosophy of supreme comfort.
The first lounge area features two Loll 07 armchairs, designed by Paola Navone, part of the latest collection. Presented in midnight blue, these chairs boast compact volumes and impeccable proportions, reflecting the beauty of simplicity and modern comfort, enhanced by meticulous detailing, high-quality materials, and expert craftsmanship.
The profile of the Loll upholstered furniture is emphasised by the signature cut-and-sew detailing, which follows the clean geometries and gentle lines of the collection like a freehand stroke.
This area, enriched with various details, occasional tables, and lamps from different collections, also introduces a 2024 highlight, the Pajama table lamp by René Barba. This design transforms spaces with its dreamy allure, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The lamp collection, available in table and floor versions, is crafted from Tyvek®, a surprisingly lightweight yet durable material. With a texture that mimics crumpled paper, the lamps combine an appearance of fragility with enduring resilience, designed to maintain their beauty over time. The circular shade, supported by an internal metal structure, appears to float in the air, while the resin base adds a modern touch.
The second lounge area showcases two more pieces from the Loll collection: the Loll 09 bergère armchair and Loll 08 ottoman, upholstered in Polar Bear fabric to enhance the collection's comfort and aesthetic.
The Loll 09 armchair is featured in this year's exclusive Parcours Hotellerie de Luxe, an initiative curated by Delporte Hospitality to highlight excellence in the luxury hotel sector. Delporte, a leader in luxury hotel expertise, stimulates debate and anticipates trends through its conferences since 2011.
One of the decorative panels reveals a contrasting area: the iconic Ghost 11 armchair, designed by Paola Navone in soft shades, and Federica Biasi's Samet High modular sofa, inspired by Thai aesthetics. The Ghost collection, known for its removable cover that envelops light structures, has evolved over time, maintaining its identity and becoming a symbol of contemporary design. The Samet High collection embodies oriental elegance, featuring a quilted topper that brings it closer to Thai influences, offering infinite compositions, and placing emphasis on user creativity.
A small passage area is illuminated by Pajama lamps in both table and floor versions. Gervasoni shares its booth with Very Wood and Rex Kralj by Very Wood, presenting their unique interpretation of hospitality.
