Financially-troubled Staud manages to stabilise operations

It was recently announced that furniture manufacturers Staud and Leuwico had officially requested insolvency proceedings at the Stuttgart District Court. The process to find investors has begun immediately, and the wages of the approximately 250 employees are secured until the end of January.

As a result, it is now in a position to resume material orders, and production, which had been temporarily halted, is set to restart on December 9. This marks a significant step toward recovery for the company after a brief period of uncertainty.

Staud, the bedroom furniture manufacturer based in Bad Saulgau, had to file for insolvency at the end of November. However, the company has managed to stabilise its operations and resolve some of its challenges.
