Bruno Descamps, CEO of Lamett Europe, recently shared impressive 2024 figures, surpassing the record set in 2022 and showing notable growth compared to 2023. 'The way is up, but the road is long,' he shares on LinkedIn.
Their success, according to Descamps, is driven by a consistent approach in "what we do" and "who we are." Years ago, the company clearly defined its values and culture, establishing a truly customer-oriented strategy.
'Running a business in EU is complicated, close to impossible,' he says. 'Growth is not obvious. Making a profit is getting almost impossible. CSRD (who the hell decided this??) EUDR, Anti dumping measures to serve the interest of a few companies, etc etc.'

'In these tough times, the Lamett performance is really good. We have to work hard: 2025 will be about a "hands on" approach and about good timing. Cross fingers in the meantime that EU will find back common sense and stop their bullshit.'
