Frida Engström has taken over the role of CEO on 1 December from the board's chairman, Annika Rost, who has held the position as interim since April 15. Frida Engström has been a board member of Indiska since spring 2023 and has worked operationally in the company since September this year.
'The company has a strong and competent organisation. What is needed now is a clear, dynamic, and long-term leader capable of building a strong team. Having worked with Frida Engström both on the board and in the business, I have witnessed her excellent leadership qualities and high strategic insight. I am confident in passing on the CEO position to her,' says Annika Rost, chairman of the board of Indiska.
Over the past year and a half, Frida Engström has been involved in Indiska's strategic development and market positioning through the board and ownership family. She is a trained architect and previously worked at the architectural firm Joliark.
'We are currently in the middle of strategic work, where we will continue to leverage our unique position and harness the skills of our entire team. It is essential to define our role in the market more clearly and focus on what makes Indiska special. This is work that started at the board level, and I look forward to leading it as CEO,' says Frida Engström.
