Skargaarden recently shared a preview of their upcoming Sundal Chair, a new design created in collaboration with renowned Norwegian designer Andreas Engesvik. The chair is a tribute to the breathtaking village of Sunndal in Norway, blending timeless Scandinavian aesthetics with the craftsmanship that defines Skargaarden. Built with sustainability and longevity in mind, the chair reflects their commitment to creating products that honour both craftsmanship and the environment.
About Andreas Engesvik
Andreas Engesvik is one of Norway's most prominent designers, having played a major role in pushing contemporary Scandinavian design to the international market and establishing the reputation it has today. After studying art history and completing an MA in design, he went on to co found the design studio Norway Says in 2000. Today, many of the products and furniture from the studio have become contemporary classics produced at a time when the Scandinavian design scene in general, and the Norwegian design scene in particular, was mostly appreciated for the furniture icons of its rich past.
