Independent furniture and beds retailer FL Caswell and Kettering Bedding Centre has announced plans to close due to retirement. In a statement, the business expressed gratitude to its loyal customers over the years, acknowledging their support and patronage. The company revealed that it would begin a clearance sale on Friday, 27 December 2024, with significant reductions on a wide range of products. Items such as beds, suites, occasional furniture, mirrors, and pictures will be available at what it describes as 'never to be repeated prices.'
The statement further invited customers to visit the store one last time, encouraging them to take advantage of the offers while bidding farewell to the historic retailer. The closure marks the end of an era for the family-run business, which has been a staple of the local community for nearly 100 years.
