2024 has been a celebratory year for Sanderson. From moving home to Voysey House to the inaugural Sanderson QEST Rising Star Award, they have celebrated and uplifted craft and design excellence at every turn.
Now, as they close the year, they do so on a high note. His Majesty King Charles III has granted the Royal Warrant to Sanderson, a significant milestone marking 100 years since they first received a Royal Warrant to HM King George V in 1924.
A new era, a new warrant
As a Royal Warrant holder, they are committed to excellence in design and the highest environmental standards and practices. Under their Group's Live Beautiful pledge, they remain committed to reaching carbon net-zero by 2030. Currently, in their sixth year of carbon reduction, certified by Planet Mark, Sanderson, as part of Sanderson Design Group, is on track to reach its target.
Their commitment to craft
From environmental initiatives to championing craft and making at every turn, including their work with QEST, a trust of which His Majesty King Charles III is a patron, this Royal Warrant renewal reflects their continued dedication to the highest quality standards, craftsmanship, and service and is a testament to their enduring commitment to excellence, at Sanderson and in the wider British craft industry.
QEST was formed in 1990 to mark the 150th anniversary of the Royal Warrant Holders Association and the 90th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. Their CEO, Lisa Montague, is a Trustee of QEST and represents Sanderson as a Grantee of the Warrant.
They are incredibly proud to continue supplying fabrics, wallpapers and paints to the Royal Household, and congratulate their fellow Warrant Holders. This is a prestigious mark of recognition, and they look forward to continuing their work as they enter the next chapter as Warrant Holder to His Majesty King Charles III.
