According to Ixina's parent company, FBD International, Spain has constructed more homes in the last three decades than any other European nation. Despite this, the kitchen retail market remains mature yet highly fragmented, dominated by smaller local businesses. This scenario has created an opportunity for Ixina to establish itself as a significant player in the country.
The company's entry into Spain is the result of a three-year strategic initiative, during which its store concept was tailored to meet local needs. Ixina has identified the middle segment as particularly promising, with limited competition from existing kitchen chains. The firm sees this as a chance to introduce its brand to a market largely untouched by larger players in the sector.
Initial expansion efforts will concentrate on key regions, including Andalusia, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Madrid, and Valencia. Plans are already in place for additional stores in Valencia and Andalusia as part of a broader strategy to open multiple locations across the country.
Ixina aims to solidify its position in Spain's kitchen retail market, setting ambitious goals for growth and a significant footprint in the coming years. This expansion underscores the company's commitment to leveraging untapped opportunities in European markets.
