V-Zug announced on 10 December that Peter Spirig will step down in the second quarter of 2025, following the publication of the company's 2024 annual results. Under Spirig's leadership, the V-Zug Group achieved several significant milestones, including the successful sale of the Metall Zug Group and the establishment of V-Zug Holding AG as an independent listed entity. Additionally, Spirig oversaw the comprehensive transformation of the Zug production site and elevated the V-Zug brand's international standing.
Kilian brings extensive experience to his new role. Since January 2023, he has served on the Board of Management at Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH, where he oversaw three global business units along with the design and user experience departments. From 2019 to 2023, he managed Bosch's global power tool accessories division. Kilian's earlier career includes nearly two decades at BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, where he held various leadership roles in product management, strategy, and branding.
The V-Zug Board of Directors expressed their gratitude to Spirig for his exceptional contributions to the company and welcomed Kilian as a leader of international calibre with significant experience in the Swiss market. They affirmed their confidence in his ability to build on the progress achieved under Spirig's tenure and to steer the company towards further growth and innovation.
Kilian's appointment marks a new chapter for V-Zug as it seeks to strengthen its position as a leader in high-end household appliances while continuing to prioritise sustainable and profitable expansion.
