From 1 January, Gerflor Benelux's general manager has left the company, having served in this role for four years. Gerflor, a global player in the design, production and sale of innovative and environmentally friendly flooring and wall solutions, will have to cope with her departure in the Benelux region.
Marieke Lambrecht announced her departure via LinkedIn, stating she will take time off to travel the world and find inspiration for a future career. Lambrecht's professional career had its origins at Bonar Floors, a company that later became part of Forbo, where she held various sales positions in the Assendelft branch. Her move to Gerflor Benelux marked a new phase in her career, where she led the region's strategy and operations.
Gerflor, which has been in the flooring industry for more than 80 years, is known for its eco-friendly products such as LVT flooring, linoleum and anti-static flooring. Lambrecht's departure will undoubtedly impact the organisation, which caters to both the professional and private markets.
