Pulpo, the renowned design editor celebrated for its bold and unconventional creations, is set to present two exciting new collaborations at Maison&Objet 2025. Known for its ability to seamlessly blend functionality with artistry, Pulpo continues to push design boundaries with innovative furniture and lighting concepts crafted by a global network of talented designers.
One of the highlights of this year's showcase is the Marino Sideboard, created in collaboration with DesignStudio Speziall®. This striking piece blends industrial aesthetics with artisanal craftsmanship, featuring extruded ceramic finished in a deep black glaze. The hollow chamber profiles give Marino a minimalist, modern form, while its handcrafted ceramic elements exude an archaic warmth. This balance between bold materiality and refined craftsmanship makes Marino a standout object that is as functional as it is artistic.
The second major unveiling is the Sfera Lighting Collection, the debut collaboration between Pulpo and acclaimed AD100 designer Victoria Wilmotte. Inspired by Wilmotte's limited VW Factory Edition, Sfera reflects Pulpo's signature combination of sculptural elegance and practical design. With its refined shapes and clear design language, the collection is a harmonious addition to Pulpo's portfolio, perfectly encapsulating its ethos of innovative creativity.
Pulpo will also present updates to two of its iconic collections by Sebastian Herkner. The Alwa One side tables, already admired for their solid glass tops, now feature brushed stainless steel bases that create an elegant contrast between weight and lightness. Additionally, the Oda family expands with the introduction of a dark cosmo black albastro glass globe. This new element adds a mysterious allure, elevating the collection's aesthetic appeal.
Visitors to Maison&Objet will have the opportunity to explore these creations in greater detail during the Maison&Objet in the City showcase. The Sfera collection will be displayed at the Victoria Wilmotte Showroom in Paris, allowing attendees to experience its captivating forms, sizes, and colours. The showroom, located at 38 rue Madame in the heart of Paris, will host a press preview on 15 January 2025, followed by a champagne evening on 16 January.
Pulpo invites design enthusiasts and professionals alike to discover these groundbreaking collections at Maison&Objet from 16 to 20 January 2025. The brand's commitment to quality, creativity, and collaboration continues to solidify its position as a leader in contemporary design. Pulpo looks forward to welcoming visitors and sharing its vision in Paris.
