Leekes, the home department and furniture retailer, is set to begin the third and final phase of its extensive transformation of the Llantrisant store, its flagship location in South Wales. The retailer has already invested £4 million into the store's renovation, with the first two phases delivering significant changes, including a revamped furniture department. This final phase, expected to take up to a year to complete, will introduce several new features to the store, further enhancing its appeal to customers.

Scheduled to commence in the spring, the third stage of the project will involve the relocation of the store's in-store restaurant, as well as the expansion of its apparel offering. Additionally, the DIY and decorating departments will see a new entrance, creating a more inviting and accessible layout. The final phase will also include the development of a new display area for garden buildings and conservatories, offering customers an expanded selection of outdoor products.
The Llantrisant store, located just 20 minutes outside Cardiff, serves as one of the retailer's key locations. Leekes operates several other stores, including those in Bilston, Cross Hands, Cheltenham, Melksham, Tonypandy, and Bristol, where it runs the Park Furnishers brand. This multi-phase renovation marks an important step for Leekes in maintaining its competitive edge within the home and furniture retail sector.
