The home furnishings industry came together to honour exceptional talent and creativity at the ARTS Awards gala in Dallas on 11 January 2025. Despite challenges, including devastating fires in California and wintry weather disrupting travel, the evening retained its celebratory atmosphere.

Attendees celebrated industry leaders, designers, and brands for their contributions. Notable awards included the Academy of Achievement, given to Andy Singer, founder and CEO of Visual Comfort & Co., and the HEARTS Award, presented to The H Foundation. Lois Del Negro, former owner and CFO of Global Views/Studio A Home, received the Trailblazer Award, while The Phillips Collection earned the Green Award for their environmental contributions.
Recognised for their outstanding designs were Amber Lewis of Amber Interior Design and Christi Barbour of Barbour Spangle Design. Their work stood out among the many nominees, showcasing the innovative spirit that drives the industry forward.
Winners in the retail categories reflected a diverse range of talent. Mustard Seed Market & Home in North Carolina, Coco & Dash in Dallas, and Absolutely Fabulous in Huntington Beach were acknowledged as top home accents stores across their respective regions. Magnolia Lighting in Mississippi, Lightology in Chicago, and Ultra Design Center in Denver received accolades for lighting showrooms. Leon & Lulu in Michigan and Lee Douglas Interiors in Nebraska were honoured as stand out furniture stores.
The awards also celebrated design studios, with Megan Molten, LLC of Charleston, South Carolina, receiving recognition. Sales representatives Vince Hall, Ruth Grigson, and Sally Windnagle were commended for their contributions across their territories.
In the manufacturing categories, Revelation by Uttermost won for accent furniture, while Loloi was recognised for area rugs. Other winners included Kalalou for home accents, Lili Alessandra for home textiles, and Currey & Company for lamps. Visual Comfort & Co. excelled in lighting fixtures, Polywood in outdoor living, Annieglass Inc. for tabletop, and Wendover Art Group for wall décor.
While some winners were unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, their contributions were celebrated with messages of gratitude shared by presenters. The event highlighted resilience and creativity, embodying the industry's commitment to excellence.
This year's ARTS Awards not only recognised the finest in home furnishings but also reaffirmed the community's strength and dedication to pushing the boundaries of design and innovation.
