The Polish furniture industry faced numerous challenges in 2024, including rising production costs, declining demand, and increasing competition, particularly from the Far East. These issues led to a weakening of the Polish furniture sector's position in international markets. The "Polskie Meble Outlook 2025" report, produced by B+R Studio, offers a detailed analysis of the industry's performance over recent years, with forecasts for 2025. The findings will be discussed during a seminar aimed at sharing insights on the future of the Polish furniture industry.
To assist furniture showroom managers in increasing their store's efficiency, a series of lectures have been prepared by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and the MTP Group. These lectures, led by sales and management expert Jerzy Osika, will focus on practical strategies for improving customer acquisition and retention, as well as recruiting top salespeople. Osika will also share insights from some of the world's most innovative furniture stores, helping attendees learn from the best practices that have made these stores successful.
The MEBLE POLSKA fair will also feature a presentation from Kaufland Global Marketplace, offering strategies for expanding furniture sales across five European markets. The lecture will highlight the success story of a furniture brand that grew significantly using the platform and will provide actionable advice on optimising online sales to increase reach and customer base across Europe.
A key topic at the fair will be the creative approach to bioeconomy and sustainable production. A seminar organised by OIGPM will delve into EU Erasmus+ training programmes aimed at stimulating entrepreneurship and creativity in the wood and furniture sectors. The focus will be on promoting sustainable development and eco-design within the furniture industry.
As new technologies increasingly impact furniture design and sales, experts from AR-RANGE and DYFUZJA will examine whether innovations like augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) improve financial results or are merely superficial trends. They will share their experiences with implementing these tools and discuss how to choose the right technologies for businesses.
Sustainability remains a key concern in the furniture industry, and a lecture on upcycling post-industrial waste will explore how manufacturers can incorporate eco-friendly practices into their production processes. Participants will learn about recycling, upcycling, and the impact of new European Union regulations, which are pushing the industry towards more sustainable production methods.
Digital tools to support furniture design and production will also be a focus, with TMSYS specialists showcasing software that improves efficiency, quality, and personalisation in furniture design. These tools include 3D modelling and online configurators, which allow customers to design their own furniture and receive instant cost estimates.
The MEBLE POLSKA 2025 fair will be an important event for anyone looking to stay competitive in the evolving furniture industry. The exhibition will feature over 300 companies from across the globe, with companies from Turkey and Ukraine presenting their offerings. Participants can register online by 31st January to receive a free admission ticket.
