Paris is now home to the first Saba flagship store

Saba unveils the location of its first flagship store in Paris in the historic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, the epicentre of creativity and contemporary design.

The new space represents a significant chapter in the consolidation of the brand in France, where Saba can count on a solid distribution, with a widespread presence throughout the country and long-standing collaborations with about sixty retailers. After opening the first Saba flagship store in Milan in 2022, Paris seems like the natural evolution of the dialogue that Saba has been able to establish with French customer. An attentive and refined interlocutor, who has always been akin to the brand's philosophy and inclined to grasp its spontaneous elegance.

The new store represents an important milestone in a country that is the first foreign destination market and aspires to become the reference location for the brand at a regional level. The partner for this new project is French Kiss ™, a new French retail concept founded by two Lebanese entrepreneurs, Hani Hakim and Ziad Matta, with whom Saba has been collaborating for years for the Middle Eastern market. Both founders have consolidated experience in the design industry in Paris, Beirut and Dubai as well a long history of collaborations with prestigious design brands.

Not just a shop, but a meeting place, where one can immerse themselves in Saba's personal vocabulary, made up of memory, design, poetry and imagination.

The first set-up is dedicated to the brand's icons and some of the 2024 news presented at the latest edition of the Salone del Mobile. On the first floor, the Pixel sofa system, a product appreciated and recognized for its ability to fully express the essence of the brand. From the very beginning, Saba has identified within the concept of freedom a fundamental value of the human being and the backbone of its corporate philosophy, as well as the starting point in the search for flexible forms.

The New York model on the ground floor is the essence of linear sofas that express the value of elegance through timeless elements, such as discretion and harmony. The Saba creative vocabulary in fact seeks beauty, suggesting the importance of balance: the sense of dimension and intimacy.

The set-up also includes the already iconic Teatro Magico, the first table in the collection. The softness of the fabric, reinterpreted in the structure of the base, refers to the essence of the company: Saba has always been able to narrate the story of textiles by playing with colour combinations that generate a recognisable atmosphere through its personal aesthetic codes.

As part of the 2024 news, there will be the new Vela Piping sofa and the collection of handcrafted Cime carpets, both nautical-inspired and designed by Zanellato/Bortotto. Also in the space, the Tres sculptural coffee tables by the Valencian duo Mut Design, with special iridescent finishes these accessories are capable of combining function and art in a single gesture.

Soft and flexible shapes, the warmth of memory, colours that create unique sensory experiences and the suggestions of art are the elements that identify the Saba space. This first Parisian installation sees a collaboration with Common Sense Gallery, an online art platform that promotes the work of emerging artists. The textile works of the German artist Hanna Klingseisen, some of which were created specifically for the set-up, are present on all the walls, in a harmonious dialogue with the furnishings and their delicate nuances. To pay homage to the territory and create a liaison with the context, several French artists or artists working in France have been selected: Camille Romagnani, Léa Musch, Hsin Hua Lee and the sculptures of the Chinese artist Hsin Hua Lee.
