With over two decades of experience in design and lifestyle industries, including expertise in children's furniture, Pedersen most recently held the position of Commercial Director at Sebra Interior. Her appointment signals a commitment to continuity at Flexa, as she plans to maintain the company's current strategic direction. Pedersen described Flexa as being 'well-positioned for growth' and expressed enthusiasm for leading the brand through its next phase of development.
During Nielsen's tenure, Flexa underwent a significant transformation, overcoming challenging market conditions. Over the past two and a half years, the company implemented a turnaround plan that streamlined operations and optimised efficiency. Nielsen, reflecting on her time as CEO, stated that while her tenure was shorter than anticipated due to an unmissable opportunity, she was confident in leaving the company in Pedersen's capable hands.
Flexa remains focused on delivering high-quality, flexible, and sustainable furniture solutions for children. With a strong emphasis on innovation and environmental responsibility, the company continues to strengthen its market position. The leadership transition is expected to build on the progress achieved under Nielsen, ensuring that the business remains on a growth trajectory in the coming years.
