Emilie Kauffmann has been named director of Spoon & Room, the Schmidt Group's latest brand. In her new role, Kauffmann will oversee several key responsibilities, including supporting the brand's development, defining its distribution strategy, shaping the store concept, curating the product range, and managing media plans and press relations. Additionally, she will play a pivotal role in driving expansion plans both in France and potentially in international markets.
Spoon & Room, created in November 2024, is tailored to working professionals aged 25 to 40 who reside in urban settings. Its launch signifies the Schmidt Group's ambition to cater to this demographic with a modern, dynamic approach.
Kauffmann's journey with the Schmidt Group began in 2018 when she joined as marketing and communications manager. She quickly established herself as an invaluable member of the team, hosting brand plenary sessions at Euroforum and achieving significant successes with initiatives such as the Les Loges campaign in partnership with France Télévision and the Vertical Home collaboration with Christian Lacroix Maison. Her exceptional contributions earned her the Advertiser of the Year award in 2019, along with the prestigious Grand Prix Stratégies de la Production publicité.
A graduate of the Montpellier School of Business, Kauffmann brings extensive experience from the food, beverage, and lingerie industries, having previously worked for prominent brands such as Coca-Cola, Heineken France, Triumph International, and Wolf Lingerie.
