Another prominent player in the furniture industry has encountered financial difficulties and initiated a restructuring process to secure its future stability and reliability. Trendteam GmbH, one of Germany's largest furniture importers based in Steinheim, confirmed the restructuring through a communication to its customers. Managing partner Ralf Müller explained that the restructuring would proceed in accordance with §§ 270 ff. of the Insolvency Code, a provision allowing self-administration under court supervision.
The Essen District Court has approved provisional self-administration for the group and appointed Mr Klepper as the provisional administrator. Mr Klepper's role is to oversee the proper conduct of proceedings and support the restructuring efforts. Despite the ongoing process, business operations remain unaffected.
According to the company, all services are continuing without interruption, maintaining the quality customers expect. Existing contact persons are still available via the usual channels, and the company assures its clients that their service portfolio remains unchanged during the restructuring.
Müller expressed optimism about the process, emphasising that the restructuring provides a foundation for a stable and successful future. The long-standing management team will continue to guide the company throughout this period, with a focus on preserving reliability and maintaining customer trust.
