A look inside the million-dollar home of Ajax captain Jordan Henderson

On 18 January 2024, Jordan Henderson signed a 2.5-year contract with Ajax. The former Liverpool player and Ajax captain comes over from Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia, where he was managed by Steven Gerrard.

Although Henderson would have earned €18 million at Al-Ettifaq, he opts for a significantly lower salary at Ajax. At the Amsterdam club, he will receive €4.5 million a year, supplemented by €1.5 million signing fee. In total, he will earn 12.45 million euros during his contract period.

Purchase villa in Blaricum
With his salary, Henderson bought a villa in Blaricum for 5.5 million euros, entirely from his own funds. The house, located in the exclusive Gooi region, offers 476 square metres of living space, spread over 10 rooms, including seven bedrooms and four bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with luxury appliances and the backyard covers a whopping 3,000 square metres. Henderson will move into the new home with his wife Rebecca and their daughter Elexa.
