The Arena collection marks our first foray into furniture with purely organic forms. Designed by Danish talent Søren Rose, this collection reinterprets curved, fluid shapes through the lens of both Mediterranean and Scandinavian culture, creating a harmonious blend of these distinct design traditions.
With this second collaboration, Søren Rose seamlessly bridges his Nordic roots with our Mediterranean heritage, achieving a striking aesthetic coherence. On one hand, the collection's forms echo traditional Mediterranean rattan furniture and the artisanal craft of basket weaving.
On the other, the wide, curved slats evoke the wood veneer techniques characteristic of Scandinavian design. Remarkably, the entire collection is crafted from aluminium sheet metal, showcasing traditional hand-bending techniques in a modern context.
