An Italian ceramic surface specialist has acquired a majority stake in an exclusive Spanish distributor, marking a significant expansion in the Spanish market. The newly formed company, aims to retain a significant stake and leadership roles within the company.

The acquisition transfers Iberstone's nine logistics platforms, staff, and commercial assets to Laminam, ensuring continuity in operations. The logistics network spans key locations, including Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, and Gran Canaria, serving over 1,000 marble workers with reliable distribution of large-format slabs and natural stones for kitchens and furniture.
Laminam's CEO, Alberto Selmi, described the deal as a 'natural evolution of a fruitful professional collaboration and friendship' that strengthens their position in a strategic market. Similarly, José Luis Zapatero emphasised the mutual trust that led to the agreement and highlighted the benefits of being part of Laminam's global brand.
This acquisition aligns with Laminam's commitment to aesthetic excellence, innovative technology, and sustainable production. Iberstone LAM joins Laminam's twelve other international subsidiaries, bolstering its global market presence.
