Potocco unveils outdoor collection

'Potocco’s latest collection exemplifies its commitment to merging aesthetics with practicality'

Potocco, a leader in Italian furniture design, celebrates the art of outdoor living with its latest collection, showcased in the stunning setting of a villa overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Captured through the lens of photographer Andrea Ferrari and under the artistic direction of Chiara Andreatti, the collection harmoniously combines natural materials, craftsmanship, and innovative design for an elevated en plein air experience.

At the heart of the collection is the Cut series, designed by Stephan Veit, which offers versatile options for both indoor and outdoor use. The indoor version of the Cut collection includes a bergère chair with a sleek aluminium base, available in fixed or swivel options. The swivel variant includes a reclining mechanism with five lockable positions, combining functionality with elegance. Enhanced with seat and headrest cushions, the chair offers unmatched comfort, while its precise profiles and visible stitching create a refined, tailored aesthetic. A matching footrest complements the chair, available with a fixed or swivel base.

The outdoor iteration of the Cut collection reimagines the bergère as part of a broader range, including armchairs, chairs, barstools, and footstools. The designs feature a steel rod frame treated with epoxy powder coating for durability, while the handwoven gassa rope shell highlights Potocco's artisanal weaving expertise. The addition of soft, contrasting cushions underscores the brand's dedication to merging comfort with functionality. With its clean lines and lightweight silhouette, the Cut collection offers a contemporary yet timeless design ideal for diverse outdoor settings.

Complementing the Cut series is the Graphic collection, conceived by designers Mario Ferrarini and Victor Vasilev as an extension of the Keel seating line. The Graphic collection maintains the same minimalist and linear design ethos while incorporating diverse materials, such as ash wood, metal, and marble for indoor pieces, and waterproof ash wood, metal, and porcelain stoneware or natural stone for outdoor use.

The collection features modular seating with upholstered elements and integrated side tables, offering flexibility and sophistication for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Additionally, tables, benches, writing desks, and side tables within the Graphic series boast geometric structures paired with functional tops, embodying structural simplicity and seamless adaptability with other Potocco furnishings.

Potocco's latest collection exemplifies its commitment to merging aesthetics with practicality, creating furniture that speaks to modern lifestyles while respecting traditional craftsmanship. From its carefully chosen materials to its intricate detailing, the collection invites users to experience the essence of Italian design, whether indoors or outdoors.
