NOUVION was supposed to usher in the new furnishing year at the Cologne exhibition centre – now the Dutch trade fair De Woonindustrie (DWI) in Nieuwegein has a special role to play, because from February 9 to 12, Nouvion will not only be celebrating a new chair concept there, but also a spring-like, fresh brand appearance.
At the beginning of the year, NOUVION is striking a new tone at Symphonielaan 1. Immediately to the right of the entrance to the exhibition centre, NOUVION is showing a best-of of the current collection on 120 square meters, as well as a new chair concept that is of interest to both the furniture trade and interior designers and contractors.
'We want to make NOUVION more accessible and attractive for interior designers too. That's why we are presenting our brand with a new face, with trendy colours and warm interiors. We are doing everything we can to ensure that this is a good start for NOUVION into 2025,' says Oliver Cieszkowski, CEO of NOUVION.
The motto of the trade fair appearance is therefore "Spring is coming", which makes NOUVION one of the main players in the DWI exhibition centre. The B2B trade fair De Wooindustrie is an important platform for shopping, inspiration and innovation in the home & living sector in the Netherlands. More than 300 brands and manufacturers present the entire spectrum of living at the DWI on an exhibition area of 35,000 square meters - from furniture and lighting to sleeping systems and accessories. The exhibition centre is open all year round, but on two dates in January and September the new products are presented, and the trade is invited on a broad basis.
'NOUVION has a permanent stand in the DWI center, but during the trade fair week we will be showing the existing collection in a new look and with brighter colours to convey more of a spring and summer feeling and thus provide inspiration for retailers and interior designers. It is the best place to meet our existing customers, but also new contacts in one place,' says a delighted Gosia Szczepanik, Sales Director Benelux. Marcella Bouwman, Account Manager and jointly responsible for the appearance, adds: 'The DWI is a beautiful, modern conference and exhibition venue with attractive stands near Utrecht. It is the place to be for the Dutch furniture market and beyond.'
In 2025, the furniture market in the Netherlands is expected to generate sales of more than EUR 11 billion, according to Statista Market Insights (11/24), and NOUVION wants to play a prominent role in this with its current collections. Taking population figures into account, the per capita sales for Home & Living in the Netherlands in 2025 will be more than EUR 630 - one of the highest values in the world.
