Flokk, which already owns two American subsidiaries, 9to5 Seating and Stylex—acquired in January 2024—has officially launched Flokk US and established a leadership team to oversee its North American operations. Frederik Fogstad, a Flokk executive since 2013, has been appointed CEO, while Randi Pastrovic and Rich Oliver will serve as chief creative officer and chief commercial officer, respectively. Pastrovic and Oliver bring expertise from Flokk's subsidiaries, Stylex and 9to5 Seating.
The company stated that this leadership team will provide 'valuable global insights and a deep understanding of our portfolio's brand identities' as they drive the expansion forward.
Flokk anticipates the US market will become its largest source of revenue, building on a foundation where approximately 90% of sales already come from outside Norway. The UK market alone generates over £20m in sales for the company.
The move represents a strategic focus on growing Flokk's presence globally, leveraging its sustainable office furniture offerings and brand portfolio to establish a strong foothold in North America.
