The LUIZ beds collection offers a wide variety of styles and options ranging from modern straightforwardness to classic elegance and from casual chic to sensual opulence. The eleven models combine a special standard of design with a high level of comfort. Each bed can be placed either against a wall or free-standing in the room. Manufactured at a specialised factory in Germany, these beds uphold the highest quality standards, as do the LUIZ textiles, which give each bed its individual look.
A good bed promotes peacefulness, deep relaxation, intimacy and cosiness. The beds in the LUIZ beds collection are as individual as the need for restful sleep: The collection includes eleven models in a wide range of shapes from straight-lined to organically curved. The look of the collection, which is manufactured entirely in Germany, is the brainchild of designer Peter Fehrentz, who creates upholstered beds as design objects that look attractive from every point of view.
Although each bed has its own individual expression and character, every model unfolds its effect equally well either alongside a wall or free-standing in the room. Each model comes in four sizes and three lengths; custom-made beds are also an option. A comprehensive selection of insert systems, mattresses and slat bases is available for creating made-to-measure beds. Thanks to their high insertion depth, LUIZ beds can also accommodate motorised systems. The textile coverings are unique: Customers can choose freely from the LUIZ fabric world, which comprises 150 qualities in 850 colour combinations. Various leather qualities are also available. Tailor-made bedding, handmade bed linen and elegant throws can be combined with each bed model and its desired textile covering.
The Gradient bed: the opulent one
With vertical quilting that narrows outwards, the Gradient bed embodies the sumptuousness of Art Deco. The headboard's design is reminiscent of a three-dimensional relief with expressive curves and conjures an elegant, luxurious atmosphere in every bedroom. The fixedly upholstered headboard provides the Gradient bed with a robust frame; the feet are available in natural oak, wenge-coloured or black lacquered.
The Sculpture bed: the embracing one
Characterised by its organic shape with softly enveloping contours, the Sculpture model invites people to relax and feel good. The tapering lines of the fixedly upholstered headboard are a particularly striking example of masterful craftsmanship. The bed's frame is crafted all the way down to the floor with a shadow gap; the frame's cover can be removed for convenient cleaning.
The Bisou bed: the delicate one
The latest bed from the pen of designer Peter Fehrentz is as light as a kiss. The attached apron forms a ten-centimetre-high shadow gap and lends a floating character to Bisou (French for "kiss"). The delicate appearance of this bed is emphasised by its less massive headboard, which is only about eight centimetres deep and has a modular design. The Bisou bed is available in three versions: On request, the three fixed panels can be supplemented with two fixed or optionally two folding side panels that gently embrace the sleeper.
