SBA Group's upholstered furniture manufacturer, Kauno Baldai, reported sales of 27.6 million euros in 2024, marking a 6% increase from the previous year. The company now expects a further 30% rise in sales for 2025, despite ongoing market difficulties.
CEO Tomas Mauricas acknowledged that while 'European demand for furniture is recovering slowly,' the company achieved growth through long-term commitments, new trading partnerships, and expanded retail locations. The strongest sales increase was recorded in Scandinavia at 19%, while Benelux and Germany experienced more moderate growth of around 7%.
Despite economic challenges in Germany, Kauno Baldai aims to expand most rapidly in this market, targeting a sales increase of at least 20% in 2025. Additionally, the company has seen a significant rise in orders from Norway. Growth in other regions is expected to be more moderate.
Mauricas stated that current order trends indicate the company is on track to achieve its 30% sales growth target, driven by an increasing number of retail outlets.
