Production set to continue for German manufacturer following last-minute deal

A planned shutdown of a bedroom furniture manufacturer in Bad Saulgau by the end of January had been confirmed earlier this week. However, negotiations have progressed, and it has now been agreed that production will continue into February.

According to Inside Wohnen, it is now official that production will resume in February. Without investor support, the company faced imminent closure, with insolvency proceedings set to begin on 1 February. The agreement reached this week is seen as a positive development, allowing Staud to continue operations and offer some hope to its 150 employees. As negotiations with potential investors progress, there is a focus on securing long-term sustainability for the company's future.
