Andrés Reisinger unveils "Winter Collection" at Gallery Collectional

Argentinian visual artist and designer Andrés Reisinger presents Winter Collection, a limited-edition furniture series created for Gallery Collectional. The collection, featuring a sofa, armchair, divider, lamp, and blanket, debuts in a solo exhibition at the gallery's Dubai venue from 6–22 February 2025. Drawing inspiration from winter's quiet descent, Reisinger explores warmth and protection through a seamless blend of digital and physical design. The collection follows the success of Winter House, a virtual architectural project he co-designed in 2022.

At the heart of the collection is the sculptural Winter Sofa, inspired by the fluidity of the northern lights and the soft curves of wind-sculpted snowdrifts. The Snowdrop Armchair complements it with a cocoon-like form, its textured surface reminiscent of interwoven frost layers, offering unexpected warmth. The Bow Divider references fractured ice formations, filtering light through translucent surfaces to create an interplay of transparency and depth. The Lamp emits a diffused glow, evoking the soft warmth of a winter morning sun. Completing the collection, the Canvas (Blanket) is both lightweight and insulating, inspired by frost-covered landscapes.

Reisinger describes the project as an exploration of contrasts—frost and fire, structure and fluidity—celebrating winter as a moment of balance and transformation. The exhibition, set within Gallery Collectional, highlights the collection's minimal yet immersive aesthetic, inviting visitors to experience the quiet beauty of winter through design.
